A healthy, hearty lunch is important, but a lot of volunteers have a hard time hitting the shelter kitchen midday. If that’s the case for you, you can try our new Cold Lunch Dash opportunity, which lets you and your team prepare a high-quality, ready-to-eat, easy-to-serve meal ahead of time and drop it off at the shelter. Learn more and sign up.
We have a comprehensive guide for serving meals at the shelter that you will receive when you register for a meal. This guide, coupled with personal attention from staff throughout the planning process will ensure you have a successful and fun meal. We can also host a tour ahead of time to talk through the process, and see the kitchen space.
