Marketing and Communications Associate, FT
The Marketing and Communications Associate is part of the Advancement and Communications team and is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing the communication and marketing plan for the agency with a focus on driving fundraising results, event revenue, and community engagement.
Hybrid work model; flexible work schedule
Wages: $52,000 per year
Program Support Specialist-PT, Temporary
This position provides administrative support to Simpson Housing Services (SHS) housing programs for families and individuals by providing a high level of customer service to participants, staff, and property managers. SHS is seeking a candidate excited about utilizing their service mindset to provide high quality contributions to a team. This position supports rental subsidy administration to approximately 150 participants. This position requires an organized, detail-oriented team player.
This is a temporary position, 25 hours per week, general working hours M-F between 9-5 with flexibility available.
Wages: $21-$23 per hour. 1 Position Available.
Senior Data Quality Specialist, FT
This position will work to ensure the high level of data quality required for Simpson to bill for services and meet compliance with our funders. They will be responsible for the review of case notes and files, a high volume of data entry and reporting in HMIS service point, and some work with pulling reports and manipulating data in Excel. This position requires an organized, detail-oriented team player, with great communication skills and experience working with large quantities of data.
Hours for this position are Mondays to Fridays, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Flexible
Wages: $23-$25 per hour.
Case Manager, FT
This position will work as part of a team that utilizes a Harm Reduction and Housing First Model to assist people by meeting them where they are, with housing as a primary focus. Team members will respond to each participant’s unique needs and goals by providing on-going support, advocacy and assistance in accessing community services to encourage stability in housing and integration in the community. Case Managers must be knowledgeable about and able to respond effectively to the complexities of participants’ lives and the co-occurring challenges and conditions associated with long-term homelessness.
Hours for this position are Mondays to Fridays, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Flexible
Wages: $40,000 to $45,000 per year. 1 Position Available.
Youth Advocate, FT
The Youth Advocate will provide case management services to youth experiencing homelessness. This position works with youth to improve the quality of individual lives through safe stable housing, employment, community connections, leadership, education and wellness. Through building trusting relationships and focusing on youth’s unique strengths, the Youth Advocate guides youth towards independence.
Hours for this position are Mondays to Fridays; Some Saturdays; Some flexibility
Wages: $40,000 to $45,000 per year
Adult Shelter Connect Advocate, FT
This position is part of the Hennepin County Single Adult Shelter Collaborative which coordinates the Hennepin County Adult Shelter Connect. The Single Adult Shelter Collaborative includes the following agencies: Catholic Charities, Our Saviour’s, St. Stephens, Salvation Army, and Simpson Housing Services. This position provides assessment and placement into single adult shelters in Hennepin County. It is anticipated that the position will complete 24 assessments in an 8-hour work day.
This energetic and adaptable employee will work as part of a team to assist individuals to access and understand the single adult shelter system. Participant populations may include those with chemical use issues, criminal histories, trauma, grief, and/or mental health issues. Advocates must be knowledgeable about and able to respond effectively to the complexities of individual’s lives and the challenges and conditions associated with homelessness.
Hours for this position are weekdays, Mondays to Fridays from 9:00am-5:30pm.
Wages: $17 per hour
Assistant Program Manager
This position assists in managing the operations of the Simpson emergency shelter, which serves individuals experiencing homelessness. The Assistant Program Manager (APM) is responsible for staff supervision; assigned funding reports; community collaboration and contributing to program development. The APM will also work with guests and participants to ensure that quality services are being delivered.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position
Wages: $50,000-$55,000
Lead Shelter Advocate
This position will provide a hospitable, safe, secure, clean, supportive, and affirming environment for single adult men or women in need of overnight shelter. This position will also provide advocacy, support, direction, resources and referrals to shelter guests, as needed. This position will provide leadership for other employees on the evening shift including guidance, conflict resolution, and executive decision-making.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position
Wages: $22-$23 per hour. 1 Position Available.
Shelter Advocate-Full-time, Days and Weekends
This position will provide a hospitable, safe, secure, clean, supportive, and affirming environment for single adult men or women in need of overnight shelter. This position will also provide advocacy, support, direction, resources and referrals to shelter guests, as needed.
