Tamekia Roberts

As a Family Advocate, Tamekia works with young parents with children who are experiencing homelessness and helps them locate and retain stable, affordable housing. With over eight years of family advocacy experience in many settings, Tomeka is well-prepared to help families overcome barriers and provide them with ongoing guidance and support. Tamekia finds it rewarding to see how far families progress in the SHS program and how appreciative they are for her assistance.  

Originally from Minneapolis, Tamekia enjoys playing in an adult kickball league, and she loves to relax. 

Tamekia has been with SHS since 2017.
