The comedian, the one that brings the laughter when there’s none.  He/she are the strong one, the breaker of the status quo.  This is the respect for a hard profession. Even if their lives are sad or hard, they perform their jobs regardless.  The comedy genre and its supporters are very decisive for the happiness and sanity of the world.  Respected.
