Lunches for Literacy

Lunches for Literacy volunteers create nutritious lunches for students and mentors in Simpson Housing Services K-5 Literacy
Mentoring Program who participate in monthly educational field trips throughout the Twin Cities.

Volunteers purchase the food items needed for 20-35 lunches, prepare them offsite, and deliver lunches to our
administrative offices on  Friday before the Saturday outing. Approximate cost is $100 – $120 for 20-35 lunches.
