Please note: Recordings submitted may not be used in its entirely. By submitting your recoding you are giving consent for your video to be a part of the 36th Annual Homeless Memorial for a recording to be posted on Facebook, Facebook Live, and Simpson’s website.

To submit your recording, please follow these guidelines:

  • Record in a horizontal format (not vertical). If you record on a computer, the default is horizontal. But if you record on a phone, please make sure you are holding your phone horizontally. See below.
  • Find a quiet place without background noise (turn off TV, ask people/dogs to be quiet!)
  • Ideal lighting is to face a window, with no windows behind you.
  • Smaller carpeted rooms work better for sound than large echoey rooms
  • Outdoor can work, but if it’s a windy day it will impact the audio quality.

Please hold your phone or set your computer for horizonal viewing:
