As a member of the Simpson Housing Services Board of Directors, I’m extremely proud of the quick and thoughtful adjustments leadership and staff made to continue serving our clients and guests during this pandemic.

The shelter is currently open 24/7 so our guests can shelter in place, and meals are being catered – rather than being prepared and served by volunteers.  Safety measures are being taken to help keep everyone as healthy as possible, and additional staff are being cross-trained to help meet the shelter coverage demand.

But all this means extra costs to keep the shelter going, while continuing to serve clients in other programs under unique and stressful conditions.  Please consider making a gift to Simpson today!  Gifts will be matched dollar for dollar up to $135,000.
