Our virtual art sale is LIVE now through July 11!
Enter our virtual store to start buying art and giving shelter!
It’s a beloved community event for a reason. Every year, hundreds of generous artists donate original works of art to this massive exhibition and sale. The pieces are displayed anonymously and offered for a fixed, affordable price ($35 for a 5”x7” image, $90 for an 8”x10” image, etc.). Attendees are invited to explore and then pluck whatever art compels them right off the walls, not knowing until later if they’ve been created by an established favorite or an emerging artist. It’s like a treasure hunt, a night of discovery, and a showcase of our massively talented creative community all in one.
Best of all: all proceeds go toward Simpson Housing Services’ shelter and housing programs. The most recent Wilder Research Homelessness in Minnesota study (2018) found that up to 20,000 Minnesotans are now homeless on any given night – a record high. Thanks to Art 4 Shelter, we’ve raised over $1 million to house, support, and advocate for people experiencing homelessness.
You may use any mailing option for your submission, including U.S. Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, or personal delivery.
With your talent, support, and compassion, Art 4 Shelter continues to be a resounding success each year. Since its inception in 2011, we have raised over $1 million, providing thousands of nights of shelter and housing for people experiencing homelessness.
This event would not be possible without you, the talented artists who contribute every year – THANK YOU!
Art 4 Shelter is Simpson Housing Services’ annual fundraiser, an art sale featuring over 1,600 original artworks by emerging and established artists.
For 12 years, the event has showcased the inspiring and diverse talents of the artist community and engaged supporters locally and across the country, all sharing in Simpson’s critical mission to end homelessness.
We express our gratitude to the community for engaging in this inspiring art sale that is truly a collaborative expression of healing and social justice in our community.
100% of Art 4 Shelter proceeds support Simpson’s shelter and housing programs.
