Lily Wujek is a jeweler and metal artist originally from Minneapolis and currently residing in San Luis Obispo, California. Her passion for sculpture and metal casting led her to jewelry; she wanted to know how the processes of large-scale sculpture casting were applied to the micro – and exquisite – details of jewelry. After a jewelry casting apprenticeship in New Mexico, a year stint as a sales professional at the oldest jewelry store in Minnesota, and the completion of the Graduate Bench Jeweler’s program at New Approach School for Jewelers in Tennessee, Lily is now cutting her teeth as a jeweler at a premier jewelry store on the central coast of California. Her dream is to one day have her own studio space, where she can bring custom jewelry designs to life, build an independent line of fine jewelry and continue to create art objects – both large and small – in metal.
